How to create targeted marketing data, create mailing lists and do thorough research using our CD-ROMs.

Our CD-ROMs came at no additional charge to purchasers of our full-version almanacs, through 2010 editions.
For additional information, see “How to Install the CD-ROM”, “How to Use the CD-ROM” and ""End-User Agreement."
These CD-ROMs contain the full database of companies profiled in the almanac that you have purchased. For example, if you buy Plunkett’s Health Care Industry Almanac, you will find our superb, one-page profiles of each of the Health Care 500 Companies to be part of your book. You will greatly enjoy studying these firms in your book, and you will find extensive indexes to them.
Here are just a few of the ways you can use the CD-ROM to do marketing, research and analysis, and to create mailing lists and Excel spreadsheets of company data:
- You can view in page form each of the companies profiled in the almanac.
- You can sort the companies by annual sales; city, state or country; foreign, private, public or subsidiary; or primary line of business through industry sector codes.
- You can filter the companies to find only those firms that you want. For example, you can filter out only companies headquartered in a particular state (such as only those in California). You can also filter out companies that meet multiple criteria, based on your choices of industry type, location and annual sales.
- You can export portions of your selected data to either Microsoft Excel files or plain text files. You will be enabled to export company name, address, phone, fax and website. You will also be able to export the names of all of the executives, by title, that we have in the database.
- You can use your exported files for mail merge and other marketing uses. You can also import them into many types of contact management software, such as ACT.
